Neurodegeneration is one of the top five leading causes burdening the healthcare crisis led by Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias at over $243 billion dollars per year. Parkinson’s disease and Parkinsonian-like diseases follow suit and continue to rise.

In this course you will learn:

  • The physiological needs of the cell and how to recognize the different neurodegenerative disorders like Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s-Like conditions, Cortico-bulbar degeneration and other neurodegenerative diseases.
  • The pathophysiology of cellular breakdown. Easy concepts and analogies to break this down to your patient. Ways to show your patient and their loved ones what is happening and how you plan to address it and why.
  • Neurological structures involved in the different types of neurodegenerative disorders, how to reach those areas with therapeutic intervention, and what you should expect your outcomes to be.
  • How to evaluate these patients from their initial phone calls, paperwork/intake. MMSE, neurological and physical exams, as well as how to interpret labs they bring, labs you want to run and how to prepare treatment plans, evaluate your care, and change course if things don’t go as planned.
  • How to implement effective therapy programs, establishing realistic expectations, how to make it economically feasible in your clinic, and how to make you successful in seeing these types of patients.

Dr. Brandon Brock is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist. He serves as a staff clinician at Cerebrum Health Centers in Dallas Texas, and multiple other facilities. Dr. Brock has a passion for lecturing and giving learners didactic and academic skills in a way that is easy to digest, comprehend and utilize in a clinical setting.

Dr. Berry is the founder and owner of Arizona Chiropractic Neurology Center which is a fully integrative neurology based healthcare clinic in Chandler, AZ. He is a neurology consultant for Erchonia Laser and Vibrant America Labs. He began doing FDA laser research in 2011 and was awarded the laser researcher of the year award in 2014. He lectures nationally and internationally on Neurology, Functional Medicine, Diagnostic Testing and Laser Therapy.

Dr. Teames has accumulated more than 1800 hours in and lectures on functional neurology, functional medicine and integrative lab testing. He currently practices in a fully integrated functional medicine and functional neurology clinic in Chandler, Arizona. He serves as a mentor for graduating Naturopathic Medical Doctors. He is a health consultant for Vibrant America. Since 2015 he has been conducting FDA research on low level laser therapy.
